“For years I’ve been going to trinity Bellwood’s park to sit on the hill and watch all the dogs play. Now, I’m down there with a pup of my own. I met Sara when she was just 4 months old. A tiny and scared white puppy with mange. She and her sister Ash were both rescued from Mexico and brought to Toronto by an organization called Save Our Scruff. I was told that sara was left in a dumpster to die because she was ill. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about it. Thankfully, she was found by some kind tourists who took her to the isle animals organization to be nursed back to health.
As soon as I met Sara I knew she wasn’t going anywhere. I was only supposed to foster her, but there was no way I could give her up now. Sara had stolen my heart and seemed to fit right in from day one.
It’s hard for me at picture what my life was like before Sara entered it. She is a sweet soul, with lots of personality. Whether I’m having a good or bad day, she is always thrilled to see me, and she always looks like she has a huge smile on her face. From her loud snoring, to her love of treats, I have found my little furry companion to take to the dogbowl with me.” – Cat
