Ty’s Story

Ty was in Toronto Animal Services shelter as a stray. Needed to have one of his eyes removed and was thought to be between 10 and 12 years old. He was later transferred to Speaking of Dogs rescue so he could have further medical care and be fostered since he wasn’t coping well in the shelter. I fostered him and decided he was too precious to let go so I adopted him.

He has some isolation distress (separation anxiety) and is on anxiety meds while we work on that. But otherwise a lovely and gentle senior man. He lives happily with my two other dogs (Pug and Janapese Chin) and my ginger cat.

A nicer little man doesn’t exist on the planet. Lord knows how he ended up in the shelter, but I’m glad he’s with me now.
